Systems Engineering
- Gathered user requirements, conducted technical and requirements analysis to
determine implementation strategies of new equipment for the Command Support
Army Simulation Centres and LFC2IS Classrooms;
- Liaised with Industry and Canadian Defence Scientists to
determine technical equipment capabilities and identify implementation
strategies;
- Conducted technical and requirements analysis for the future large screen
display capabilities in support of the deployment of LFC2IS to the Canadian
Army; and
- Gathered user requirements, conducted the procurement, installation,
maintenance, and configuration of networking equipment providing Virtual Private
Network (VPN) capabilities to each of the Army Simulation Centres for Command
and Control.
Product Technical Support and Integration
- Best practices technical product presentations to international corporate
executives and system administrators;
- Conducted large-scale technical and requirements analysis, to determine
system deployment strategies and expedite return-on-investment for Electronic
Data Systems (500+ nodes);
- Peregrine Systems corporate integration expert, providing pre-sales
integration of InfraTools Network Discovery, Desktop Discovery and Remote
Control with ServiceCenter and AssetCenter via Connect.It applications; and
- Troubleshooting client issues with corporate Level 2 and Level 3 support
staff.
Requirements Analysis and Technical Training
- Analyze occupation and training requirements for Defence Tactical Command,
Control and Communications projects.
- Classroom lectures and laboratory demonstrations utilizing newly developed
course curriculum.
- Extensive knowledge of Defence signal and communications issues, technology,
doctrine and operations.
- Analyzed occupation and training requirements for the effective development
of course training material for the DND Tactical Command, Control and
Communications project;
